These rods allow you to feed large amounts of bait when needed with large feeders or spods without the risk of breaking your feeder rod. Just clip up with distance sticks at the desired range and once cast in the strength of the tip will allow the feeder to empty with one easy pull, unlike a standard feeder rod where the soft tip does not allow this to happen.
